With this issue we are saying goodbye to Jo Russell. She steps down after two years as senior editor preceded by two years as incoming editor. Jo has brought an extremely high level of editorial expertise to the role and has remained a steady hand in a time of editorial change and of continuing challenges for the journal from a number of fronts. She has overseen a new publication design and has worked tirelessly to produce a number of themed issues which have reflected areas of particular clinical interest. As senior editor she has offered her indefatigable stamina and ready wit alongside her keen psychoanalytic insight and high level editorial skills.

She moves on to devote her attention to an entirely different project, and will no doubt bring to that the energy and extraordinary commitment she has brought to producing a journal which reflects the best of our profession. The whole Journal editorial team will miss her and we wish her the very best for the future.
