In commenting on Orfanos's case presentation, the author considers the nature of school difficulties, and the importance of considering the relational context for learning and behavioral problems. He also stresses the value of paying attention to the role of nonsymptomatic siblings in the family, and the crucial role of the analyst's authenticity in responding to adolescent patients.
