In a previous issue of the journal (Vol. 9, No. 1) we recorded the foundation of a Clinic and Research Institute for Jungian Psychology at Zürich, and we now have pleasure in announcing that an inpatient clinic has begun to operate.
The opening ceremony was held at the Waldhaus, Dolder. Addresses were delivered by Professor C. A. Meier, President of the Foundation, and H. K. Fierz, Director of the Clinic. Franz Riklin, President of the Curatorium of the C. G. Jung Institute, welcomed the enterprise and expressed good wishes for its success.
Secretary of the Institute: C. T. Frey-Wehrlin, to whom inquiries should be addressed at the clinic or at Freiestrasse 33, 8032 Zürich.

Of this quick response, usually not at all characteristic of me, I feel it necessary to give you some explanation, all the more as it will at the same time help to justify the research programme of the Foundation.
The request reminded me at once of the great interest Jung himself had always shown in clinical psychiatry and of his spectacular therapeutic results during the early years of his activity at the Burghölzli Cl
