Proposals are invited for papers to be given at the 50th anniversary conference of The Journal of Analytical Psychology. The theme of the conference will be:
Developments in Clinical Analytical Psychology: Past, Present and Future
The conference will take the opportunity to highlight the role of the JAP in the development of clinical practice in analytical psychology.
Proposals of not more than 800 words are invited on any of the following broad themes:
Analytic process and technique (e.g enactment, projection, transference, countertransference)
Theoretical contributions to clinical practice (e.g ego-self relationship, gender, personal/collective unconscious)
Clinical patterns and phenomena (e.g child analysis, depression, sexuality, the body)
Training and professional issues (e.g supervision, assessment, confidentiality)
Interdisciplinary issues (e.g psychoanalysis, neuroscience, social sciences, psychology, philosophy, history, religion)
All those who wish to submit a proposal will find available online a sample of relevant papers that have been published in the JAP over the past 50 years. Log on to and follow the links. It is hoped that presenters will draw on these papers amongst other material. Proposals should be submitted by 31st July 2004.
