This November issue of the Journal marks my first contribution as the new North American Co-Editor-in-Chief. Since its first appearance in October 1955, one of the strengths of the Journal has been the particular emphasis on the exploration of the clinical aspect of our work and of theoretical considerations within a clinical context.
