With this issue, Modern Psychoanalysis begins its second decade of publication. To mark the completion of the first decade, the editors have included a complete list of the contents pages of each issue since we began publication. We hope this will help new readers to find which back issues would be of interest to them. We have also included an alphabetical index, by author, of all the articles published to date. This index should make it easier for those who are interested in particular authors to find their work.

Over these past ten years we have witnessed the modern analytic approach to dealing with preoedipal disorders being utilized more and more by those who are trained and are seeking training. This influence and acceptance have been gratifying. In the next decade we look forward to continuing to publish papers reflecting current research and demonstrating how analysis has been developing in response to patient treatment.
