Panel Discussion on Rosenthal's “Clinical Observations on Premature Termination in Group Analysis”

Certified psychologist and a psychoanalyst in private practice in New York City. He is a training analyst, supervisor and Dean of Professional Programs at the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies and Professor Emeritus in Psychology at Queens College of the City University of New York. He is also a training and control analyst at the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis and an adjunct professor at the Union for Experimenting Colleges and Universities.

Founder, Dean of Admissions, training analyst, and supervisor at the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, and a training analyst and supervisor at the Boston Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies. She is a member of the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis and a member of the Board of Directors of The Society of Modern Psychoanalysis. She has served on the faculty of the California Graduate Institute and the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis. She has published numerous clinical papers on modern psychoanalysis as well as papers on James Joyce and Walt Whitman. Her private practice is conducted in Great Neck, New York.

Founder and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies and the President of the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. She is Editor of this journal, and founder and former President of the Society of Modern Psychoanalysts. She has published numerous articles on drive theory and psychoanalytic research and is author of the monograph Emotional Education: The Theory and Process of Training Psychoanalysts, and co-author of the book Treatment of the Narcissistic Neuroses. A monograph of selected papers, Phyllis W. Meadow: Selected Theoretical and Clinical Papers, was recently published by this journal.

Dean of Group Psychoanalytic Studies at the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies. He has served as Group Therapy Consultant to a wide variety of social agencies, hospitals, and educational institutions. His book, The Resolution of Resistance in Group Psychotherapy, was published by Jason Aronson.

Certified psychoanalyst and serves as faculty member, training analyst, supervisor, and Dean of Educational Advisement of the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, and a faculty member of the Colorado Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies. She is a founder of the Studio Elementary School and President of its Board. She has authored numerous papers on the subject of teaching and modern psychoanalysis.
