Destruction and Fantasy: The Other Within, the Other Without*

Psychoanalyst in private practice in New York. She earned her BA from Tel Aviv University in 1980 majoring in philosophy and world literature and completed her master in social work in 1983 from Yeshiva university. She has completed her psychoanalytic training from The Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies (CMPS) in 1997 and completed her doctoral studies in the Institute for the Study of Violence, BGSP in 2005. She was on the faculty of BGSP from 2006 to 2010 and is currently on the faculty of CMPS. She has published on various topics from the study of the Israeli unconscious vis-a-vis the Palestinians, to Green's dead mother concept, to commentary on Edward Said and Jacqueline Rose.
