Apart from our usual activities connected to teaching, research, and scientific interchange (see earlier reports), our group has given a seminar on “Present, Transference and Story,” and published a book with the same title. We are also publishing a new book on A Psychoanalytic Conception of Cancer. Our latest research on Parkinson's disease, influenza, mycosis, lupus, and ischemic cardiopathology, has produced interesting results which will be published at a later time.
In January 2001 our annual Symposium will have taken place and in November 2001 the third international meeting on “The Drama in the Soul and the Illness in the Body” will have taken place in Buenos Aires with the following provisional program:
