We are happy to introduce a new member in our league: The Neuroscience and Psychoanalysis Discussion Group of the West Midlands Institute of Psychotherapy, England. Since the first issue of our Journal in 1999 and the founding of our Society in July 2000, I [I.M.] have been corresponding with about 30 groups and societies around the world, studying or working within the new field of neuropsychoanalysis and body/mind issues. Most of the groups are continuing their studies, in one way or another, some going into the hard work of empirical research. During these years, editing the reports received for the Bulletin has been a rather lonely and time-consuming job. Now I am no longer alone at this task. Maggie Zellner, in New York, has volunteered to give a helping hand and be my editorial assistant. Those of you who have attended our Congresses know her well from the Education Days, where she has done a tremendous job lecturing about the structure and function of the brain. This time she has done the heavy part of the editing. I am deeply thankful to her. This also means that if you have any questions related to our work in the society, and especially the Bulletin, you can write to Maggie Zellner (magsterz@gmail.com) as well as to me. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
