BULLETIN 22: INTRODUCTION
Colleagues around the world are inviting speakers, reading papers, generating empirical research, integrating neuroscientific findings and psychoanalytic approaches into clinical treatment—and more. Read on to learn the details! And if you are interested in forming or joining a regional group, please let us know and we'll do everything we can to get you on the road to neuropsychoanalytic collaboration.
The CEINP's Journey was created in 2010, with the aim of familiarization with basic concepts of theories related to neuropsychoanalysis. This exploration of points of connection between the fields of neuroscience and psychoanalysis leads to proposed changes in both theoretical and practical approaches. Our first meeting was on 10 April, and we had more than 70 participants.
The Journey of CEINP in 2010 proposes to address the presentation and discussion of theoretical references and an indication of broad clinical practice, from transdisciplinary viewpoints, through expanding the limits of understanding of the functions and dynamics of neuroscience. This event will be held at the SBPSP and will be developed from various psychoanalytic points of view.
In May 2009, the Assistance-and-Research-on-Trauma-and-Violence Victim Program (PROVE) was inaugurated as a result of a partnership with CEINP/RUKHA and São Paulo Federal University (UNIFESP). Its headquarters was formed to physically accommodate the projects developed by
