The group reactivated our monthly meetings on neuropsychoanalysis in November 2010. The subject of the first meeting was the neurobiology of romantic love, attachment, pair bonding, mate choice, and rejection (Dr. Cezary Zechowski). The second was dedicated to Mark Solms's lecture, “What Is Neuropsychoanalysis?” based on minutes from the Paris NPSA Congress. Records of both of them are available on the Internet. Dr. Zechowski's lecture had over 250 visitors in the first month (ustream.tv).
A session entitled “Neuropsychoanalysis” was held at the 43rd Congress of Polish Psychiatrists in Poznan, 23-26 June 2010. The congress takes place every three years and is the most important congress of psychiatry in Poland. Despite the fact that there were many parallel sessions, the conference room was full.
The first chapter about neuropsychoanalysis in Polish was published in a textbook for psychology students (Murawiec, 2010).
