A time of global changes and readaptations! A time to look back! I went back to look at editions of our journal, when Irene Mathis was our first editor of this Bulletin. I never regret taking it over from her. She was my pal! As I always have felt about Maggie Zellner. The cover of the journal was the original drawings of Freud’s Project, and now we have Mark Solms’ rethinking of it to enrich our ideas further.
Over these years, we’ve had a wonderful series discussions about affective neuroscience, brought up by Jaak Panksepp and elaborated by numerous regional groups, who continue building the bridges between psychoanalysis and neuroscience.
Now we walk towards a congress (postponed by the pandemics) in Puerto Rico next year – we hope – on the applicability of what we have learned theoretically over two decades of consilience. Our regional groups have been applying neuropsychoanalysis from the start, and I am sure everyone will continue to have fun and a high degree of engagement, both virtually and in person. Come and join us. And be part of a regional group! For more details, visit .
