A joint statement on SERVICES FOR UNMARRIED MOTHERS AND THEIR CHILDREN1 has been prepared by the Children's Bureau of the United States Department of Labor, the Bureau of Public Assistance of the Social Security Board, and the American Red Cross, three agencies concerned with health and welfare programs reaching all States and their local jurisdictions. The purpose of the material is to encourage further coördinated planning by States and local communities for fullest use of all services and facilities and to stimulate provision of needed resources.
