Abstract

This is the English translation of the original German edition which was reviewed so masterfully in detail by Bettina Warburg in this QUARTERLY, Volume XVII, 1948, pp. 105–107. This translation will be of value to any analyst interested in continental existentialism. The translation (by Liese Lewis Abell, Ph.D.) is excellent and overcomes most of the enormous difficulties inherent in the stylistic peculiarities of German philosophers.
