A patient in analysis, with no way of knowing the actual facts, dreamed correctly of the absence of the analyst's wife and of precise details of her home near the sea and the people there. Some of these data could be described as telepathically learned, others as 'precognitive'. The dream was a protest to the analyst at being rejected in favor of the analyst's wife, and also represented the patient's protest at having no mother figure to care for him, while the analyst did have such a figure.
