In a former paper the author stressed the sadistic homosexual elements in the relationship of Laius and Oedipus. It is suggested that the slaying of the father is due not only to the incestuous interest in the mother but that it is also a homosexual triumph of the son over the feminized father and is justified by his former aggression. The article documents the latter with the analysis of a rather transparent dream in which the dreamer, a younger and weaker male, violently overthrows an older and stronger male.
