A two-year program of research training in psychiatry, leading to the degree of Doctor of Medical Science, is offered by the Graduate Educational Program of the STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK, DOWNSTATE MEDICAL CENTER. The program is open to medical doctors who have completed three years of residency training in psychiatry, and candidates who have completed two years of residency.
