All had frustrations in early feeding experiences that were characterized by confusing changes in feeders and feeding technique that strained the growing adaptive capacity of the child. This produced mental functioning characterized by digital computerlike classifying of perceptual data with resulting faulty logic and a breakdown in learning and communication.
