Voth's treatment is seen as an appropriate and all too infrequently reported mixture of analytic methods and manipulation of the environment. A possible connection between enuresis and the special role of the dream in treatment is suggested. Using Voth's material as an example, the author describes a developmental progress in memory organization throughout childhood. A reply by Voth acknowledging Sarnoff's points (though not confirming the relation between enuresis and dreams) and rebutting Burland's criticisms is included.
