With this issue, The Psychoanalytic Quarterly will join with the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association, The International Journal of Psycho-Analysis, The International Review of Psycho-Analysis, The Psychoanalytic Study of the Child, and The Annual of Psychoanalysis in the use of a uniform bibliographic style for the reference lists at the conclusion of papers. It is hoped that our adoption of this uniform psychoanalytic bibliography format will enhance future research and educational use by our readers, will facilitate scholarly crossreferencing of psychoanalytic journals in the English language, and will simplify the compilation of reference lists by authors preparing papers for publication. This landmark agreement was made possible by the cooperative efforts of the Editors of the respective journals.
