In this very brief article, the author outlines certain of his conclusions about combat reactions to the October 1973 Israeli war. He makes a very strong point that the therapist's principal focus must be on here-and-now images in order to obtain meaningful results. He describes such images as doubly fixated on one's perception. The author suggests referring to his paper, "Facet-Analytical Mapping of Psychoanalysis," for an in-depth understanding of the material discussed briefly here.
