This important book represents a very competent work of love by the editors, the contributing authors, and the colleagues who worked to make this anthology possible, all of them composing a unique international network. The book explores Herbert Rosenfeld, who is one of the most important Kleinian authors and was particularly appreciated as a supervisor in both Germany and Italy. After his death in 1986 at the age of seventy-six, Rosenfeld was honored with a Memorial Meeting in the year 2000 on the occasion of what would have been his ninetieth birthday.
