Marshall Alcorn is Chair and Professor English at the George Washington University. He is the author of Narcissism and the Literary Libido, Changing the Subject in English Class (NYU Press, 1997), and Resistance to Learning (AIAA, 2013). He is also an instructor in the Washington Center of Psychoanalysis.

Sue Grand is faculty and supervisor at the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. She is the author of The Reproduction of Evil: A Clinical and Cultural Perspective (Routledge, 2002) and The Hero in the Mirror: From Fear to Fortitude (Routledge, 2009) and has co-edited several books on relational psychoanalysis and the trans-generational transmission of trauma. She is in private practice in NYC and in Teaneck, N.J.
