This film review argues that Paul Preciado's 2023 Orlando: My Political Biography creatively re-envisions Virginia Woolf's 1928 novel Orlando: A Biography in light of contemporary transgender politics. I contend that despite Preciado's outward repudiation of Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalysis, it critically revises trans-positive Lacanian psychoanalysis to account for non-binary modes of trans subjectivity.
