It is interesting and encouraging that Krantz finds important similarities between dance therapy training and the embodied approach to analytic training advocated in my paper. Federici-Nebbiosi and Nebbiosi address important theoretical challenges in asking whether subjectivity should be considered bodies-based rather than body-based. In my reply I argue that the self could indeed be considered as bodies based or body based, depending on the analyst's perspective.
