Abstract

I briefly attempt to clarify some points of disagreement in two excellent discussions that are largely in accord with my point of view of mutative action and impediments to mutative action. It feels very good to have two such prominent and well-respected analysts largely sympathetic – even admiring of something that I write. I thank them for their generosity and their erudition, the latter, in part, serving to slightly elaborate my basic thesis.
