Group Rivalry Between Analysts and Its Influence on Candidates in Training: References
Trained in Berlin (1928-1931), Dr. Garma started the Spanish (1931) and Argentine (1938) psychoanalytic movements, and founded the Argentine Psychoanalytic Association and Institute. He practiced psychoanalysis in Paris (1937-1938), has served as Visiting Professor at The Menninger School of Psychiatry, Topeka, Kansas (1962), and was the moving spirit behind the symposium of “Relations between Psychoanalysts” in Buenos Aires (1959). He has written extensively on this and other topics, including papers on training analysis.
