We are proud to welcome as consulting editors a distinguished group of colleagues from abroad: Christopher Bollas, Andre Haynal, Lotte Kohler, Peter Kutter, Arnaldo Novelletto, Pinchas Noy, and Gunnar Windahl. We welcome also Leon Wurmser, who will serve as Liaison Editor.

Since the inception of Psychoanalytic Inquiry, we have sought contributions from the widest range of authors in and out of the United States. In our Tenth Anniversary Issue, we surveyed the development of psychoanalysis in the decade of the 80s in a number of countries. Gradually our readership has increased in Europe, and our new editors, as friends, contributors, and active supporters, will help us further to fulfill our mission “to contribute to and participate in the open-ended discourse that we believe constitutes the essence of a broad, encompassing, psychoanalytic inquiry” (as stated in our Credo).
