The Papers in This Issue have Addressed Questions of Interest to both psychoanalysts and developmental psychologists—the theme of the impact of early experiences and early attachments on children's developing capacity for relatedness, attachment, and internal representation. Future issues in this series will illustrate other areas of common ground that inform both psychoanalytic theory and practice.
