Let us hope that, 100 years from now, our field will have enriched itself and expanded as much as it has since the publication of Dora; that our knowledge will have expanded and improved such that other writers will reconsider our current work with the same respect and disbelief that we now bring to Freud's work with Dora; and that analysts will have the courage to write about our work with honesty so that our psychoanalytic heirs may learn enough to be able to critique us.
