This paper discusses Marcia Dobson’s Metamorphoses of Psyche in Psychoanalysis and Ancient Greek Thought in terms of nesting Russian Dolls because the work joins the author’s personal, psychological, and academic worlds in a design that is both discretely divided and a unified whole.
