Our proposal is based on our decision to delve into the discussion of narcissism as a structural axis in addressing racism and, therefore, building in this process, which could be another contribution of psychoanalysis to racial issues. Therefore, taking narcissism as the prototype of identity-building issues that constitute us as a subject, the work aims to reflect on the idea of white bodies and the time for conflicts, through an essay or narrative crafted by Black women and men, who bring in their history/stories, as well as their people, the effects of having their bodies and souls racialized. This process determines living under the aegis of conflicts that do not belong to us. However, the destiny that was, and has continued to be traced by the colonizer, in a temporality committed to the perpetuation of the past in the present, makes that in the dramatic condition of our lives, our bodies give home, in a thanatic narcissistic identification dynamic, to everything that is abject in the universe of whiteness: Black emotion, the wandering drive – white reason, the tamed drive.
