This issue is not just about sharing ideas, thinking, and reflection, it’s about social and environmental activism. You are invited to try something different in relationship to the ongoing humankind and environmental crises. It could be undertaking another piece of mourning. Or exploring community ceremonies. Or starting conversations with people about anything that moved you here. Or powering down, making eye contact with fellow humans out there, and discovering yourself in them, finding them in you. Or figuring out how to prosocially transform your fear and rage. Or further fostering your relationship with Mother Earth. Or helping anchor and find home for others who have been devalued or erased. You might already be well on your way in these endeavors, given that you were drawn to this special issue. In any case, may you expand kinship, belonging, inspiration, and love in all of your efforts to live in this beleaguered world.
