China's New Child Psychiatry Training Programme

Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and Senior Associate in Psychiatry at Boston Children's Hospital. He trained in general psychiatry at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center and in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Boston Children's Hospital and Judge Baker Guidance Center, and is a graduate of the Boston Psychoanalytic Institute. He is on the affiliated faculty of the Harvard Center on the Developing Child, and former senior advisor for child and adolescent mental health at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.

Trained in pediatrics, psychiatry, and child psychiatry at Boston Children's Hospital and the Massachusetts General Hospital. He has served at Children's Hospital and in the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health. He has taught locally, nationally, and internationally and has served as an officer of IACAPAP, the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions.

Graduated from Xiangya Medical School, Central South University, China with a BM in clinical medicine and a MMed in child psychiatry. She currently serves as director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department at the Shenzhen Kangning Hospital. She is a member of numerous Chinese associations including the Chinese Psychological Health Association, Chinese Association of Medicine, and the Asian Family Therapy Association. She is actively supervising masters level students at the Shenzhen University Medical School and the Anhui Medical School. Dr Lu is widely published in the area of autism.
