In recent years, the number of submissions to Psychoanalytic Perspectives of scholarly articles has increased substantially. In an effort to reduce the time lag between submission and publication dates due to the time-sensitive nature of many of these articles, and in order to address the greater volume of high-quality papers, beginning with this issue the journal will be devoting more of its pages to this content. We are proud of the fact that we are the first psychoanalytic journal to publish a regularly occurring Creative Literary Arts section, and that we have always been a journal that values nontraditional content. We will therefore continue to publish our specialty sections, though now on a once-per-year basis, as follows:
Global Perspectives
Private Lives
Creative Literary Arts
The Book Review will continue to appear in each issue of Volume 15. Beginning with Volume 16 (Issue 3), we will publish two to three short book reviews, which will appear in the last issue of each year.
Although we recognize that some of our readers might miss the greater publication frequency of Private Lives and Creative Literary Arts, we also hope that many of you will also appreciate the inclusion of additional scholarly articles and essays.
In closing, I’d like to call your attention to the new formatting of the Table of Contents, which has been moved to the back cover in order to provide additional interior space for content and greater visibility for readers of our hard copy edition.
