An Air Raid Of Sorts: Introduction To “Weathering The Present: Reflections On Today’s World”

Co-Editor in Chief of Psychoanalytic Perspectives and teaches psychoanalytic writing at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP). She is a member of Beatrice Beebe’s Infant Research Board, chairs the Educator’s Award for Unpublished Scholarship at NIP, and was a member of the Program Committee of the Loewald Center from 2023 - 2025. Before entering the psychoanalytic field, she worked as an attorney specializing in prisoners’ rights, criminal defense, and anti-death penalty litigation. She publishes and presents on themes occurring in language and writing, and in the psychoanalytic writing process in particular. She maintains a practice in New York City.

Licensed psychoanalyst in private practice in Armonk, NY, working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. A faculty member and supervisor at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies, she has taught at both the preschool and university levels, and serves as a consultant for area schools. She is co-Editor in Chief of Psychoanalytic Perspectives.
