The April issue contains a special issue, guest edited by Judie Alpert and Arlene (Lu) Steinberg, on sexual boundary violations. Details about the contributions can be found in the introductory article by Judie Alpert and (Lu) Steinberg. The issue also contains (a) our annual list of psychodynamic dissertations, compiled by Nancy Adler, and (b) several book reviews.
Sadly, this special issue is a memorial of sorts. It is a memorial in honor of Dr. Muriel Dimen, one of the contributors, who died on February 14, 2016.
Muriel had a long, distinguished, and prolific career, and she contributed generously to the field of psychoanalysis. Her writings in the area of sexual boundary violations are groundbreaking and have influenced many of us. To our knowledge, her work in this special issue represents her final contribution to the field of psychoanalysis.
She had more to give. For sure, she died too soon.
