This short monograph on “the significance of the father for the fate of the individual,” by Professor Jung is an unchanged reprint of the article published several years ago in “Jahrbuch für Psychoanalytische and Psychopathologische Forschungen” (I Band). An abstract appeared in the Psychopathologische Review, 1916, Vol. III, page 90. The article is a brilliant and stimulating contribution to psychoanalytic theories.
