This little book is the story of a young woman who, following the birth of her baby, had a psychosis which necessitated two months' internment in a state hospital. The book is written “as if” by the patient as she passed through this delirioid experience and gives one a feeling of

coming into close personal contact with a disordered mind that sees things through very distorting lenses. She gets clearer and clearer as the book goes along, then has a setback and finally recovers and goes home. It is a very interesting human document.
