The author has undertaken to give us a statement of the epilepsy problem as it exists today. He is essentially an organicist and unfortunately fails almost completely to see the implication of the mental factors or to give them their adequate placement and appreciation. He is much more interested in the metabolism and gives at length a description of the ketogenic diet and the dehydration treatment.
