This work is an admirable presentation of experimental evolution in the field of genetics so far as the structural possibilities of the soma are concerned, but it does not give us very much information about the personality, although that term appears in the title. The implication is that each somatic type must of necessity have its own corresponding personality type. The book is a distinct contribution in its field, and although it does not have specifically psychoanalytic implications, it has much implicit information which can be read between the lines and applied in the psychological field.
