This book needs no introduction to an English reading clientele. It was first written some twenty-five years ago, and the fact that it is now in its seventh edition speaks for its continued popularity. It is an outstanding work on diagnosis, with the contents classified in accordance with the symptoms, so that the outstanding complaints which the patient presents may be turned to under the corresponding heads and a concise and authoritative statement found of what may be expected. It is well illustrated, not only by halftones of actual cases but by diagrams, and is introduced by a short section on anatomy and physiology.
