From time to time it becomes necessary that new works on the anatomy of the nervous system should be brought forth, as in this field, whereas many of the old facts remain very constant, there is continuous advance as the result of research from many angles. The present book is an admirable statement of the existing status in this field of anatomy, and as all such books should be, it is amply illustrated by excellent plates and well selected diagrams showing the course of fiber tracts and the make-up of important sections and centers. It could well be utilized as a textbook in teaching the anatomy of the central nervous system.
