This research concerns the interests of men from twenty to sixty years of age, with special emphasis upon the changes which take place in interests with advancing age. The data on which the investigation is based are upon the vocational-interest blanks of 2,340 men between the ages of twenty and sixty years. Men included in the study are followers of eight occupations, namely, engineers, lawyers, insurance men, ministers, physicians, school men, writers, and Y.M.C.A. secretaries. Interests are considered according to age and occupation and according to each decade considered as an age group.

Chapter I, Introduction and summary; Chapter II, Changes with age in liking, disliking and being indifferent; III, Changes in interests from decade to decade; IV, Changes in interests in terms of various groupings; V, Interest changes with age characteristic of all eight occupational groups; VI, Resemblance of interests of men in one occupation to those of men in other occupations as affected by age;
