Nothing succeeds like success. This little book, published first in March, 1930, revised and reprinted in June of the same year, and again in February, 1932, appears now in its fourth edition in January, 1935. In the meantime it has increased in size by one-third, which means of course the added number of words which that number of pages contain. It is easy enough to suggest additional groups of words that might go into subsequent editions, but the author undoubtedly will be guided by the needs as they appear from time to time.
We wish for the little book a gradually increasing field of usefulness, which undoubtedly will necessarily be accompanied by increasing size, and we hope, for the author, that he may live until this book gets to be one of the large volumes comparable in size to the medical dictionaries already in existence.
