Another stimulating book by Dr. Brown, this time on Psychology and Psychotherapy. It is worth reading, but on the other hand it is the sort of book which at least a psychoanalyst would quarrel with quite considerably, but better have a book to quarrel with than a book that does not excite any emotions whatever. The Doctor is catholic minded and discusses many points of view, and the latter part of the work is taken up with a complex mathematical analysis of the experimental evidence of the existence of factor G. His attitude is expressed in the Preface as one of enthusiastic optimism for the future of psychology. In this we find ourselves fully agreeing.
