Professor Georges Heuyer tells us in a short preface that Dr. Morgenstern has now given eleven years to the children's service of the Clinique de Neuro-psychiatrie Infantile, a service of great extent, since, as he notes, as many as 3,500 children were seen during the past year.
Naturally not all of these can be examined psychoanalytically, according to orthodox Freudian formulations, hence the choice of presenting certain investigations made with the special method of analyzing children's drawings as a part of the psychoanalytic interpretation of inner psychical states.
