As the reviewer is no Shakespearean scholar he is not in a position to comment with literary or historical value of this authors broschure of sonnet, eighteen pages. He calls it a psycho-sexual analysis. We find no analysis, but simply some general statements here and there re latent
and overt homosexuality and re erotic situations in general, most of which from a psychoanalytic point of view are vague and uninformed.
The author makes a number of incorrect statements regarding Freudian conceptions and would seem to show little grasp of these. In spite of such obvious psychoanalytic blindness this discussion of the sonnets is interesting and at times very illuminating.
