The activities of the London Psychoanalytic Clinic are outlined in this decennial report for the ten years of its functioning, 1926-1936. The staff has grown from 15 to 34. This may be noted from the opening list of officers and assistants. A short history of the clinic follows and succeeding this a report on the actual consultation work of the clinic which has, in the ten years treated now, had 738 patients under review.
To the analyst only, however, much of significance can be gained from the reading of the results of treatment in an ambulatory clinic, or free dispensary as it is called in the United States. Dr. Jones here presents a very candid and understandable picture.
A major aspect of the activity of the clinic consists in the training of candidates for analytical work. Child Analysis is here a specialized branch. Library development, Public Lectures, finances, and finally a bibliography of all of the workers.
The Decennial Report speaks well for the work of the Institute, its founders and its workers.
